We take responsibility for our impact on people and the environment
DNB’s work within SRI (Socially Responsible Investments) started in 1989 when our first "green" fund was launched. Today, we offer ethical funds, funds with environmental focus and customized portfolios with specific ESG criteria. Moreover, DNB has an ethical platform which applies to all our investments and serves as an ethical base for all teams within asset management.
"Facilitating and contributing towards sustainable development is a joint responsibility. DNB wishes to continue to exercise influence through our investment and lending activities. We require that the companies we invest in also meet certain standards because we do not wish to be involved in activities that harm the environment or violate the most fundamental human rights.” Rune Bjerke, Group Chief Executive
