Fixed Income Team

Mr. Aanes joined the Firm in 1998 as a Norwegian fixed income portfolio manager. In 2000 he was assigned to head up the team. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Aanes was a senior economist at Den Norske Bank, having started there in 1996. Between 1991 and 1996, he was an assistant professor and researcher in economics at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration. He has also completed a research stay at Harvard University. Mr. Aanes speaks English, German and Norwegian and holds an MSc in Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration.

Mr Buvik joined DNB Asset Management in 2012 to set up our High Yield Fund. Anders has a wealth of industry experience from positions in organisations such as DNB Life, where he developed and enhanced risk systems and DNB Markets where he worked on structured products. Mr. Buvik has also in the past worked with DNB Asset Management, where he was part of the asset allocation team. Prior to his current position Anders was a partner at Ricardo Private Equity which he helped set up in 2001. While there he focused on advising his clients on financial solutions within oil/offshore and shipping. Anders Buvik holds a PhD degree in finance from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH).

Lene joined DNB Asset Management in 2014 as an analyst/portfolio manager for our high yield portfolios. Prior to her current position she was a risk analyst in Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), focusing on cross-asset risk measuring and modelling. Lene’s industry experience also includes sell side positions in ABG Sundal Collier, where she was a part of the corporate finance team and Pareto Securities where she worked with equity sales. Lene holds a master degree in finance from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) and a master degree in insurance mathematics from the University of Bergen.
