Asia: The world`s growth engine

In recent years the Asian markets have experienced a sustainable growth and the Far Eastern economy remains to be a bright spot in an unpredictable global economy. Whereas China ranked 6th among the global economies seven years ago, it now aspires to even overtake the US as the world’s largest economy. Despite a downward correction, growth in China and India is still expected to even out between 6 and 7 percent in 2012. The Asian markets may offer a good entry point at the time being, particularly for investors who focus on the right sectors.

Our emerging markets team, with offices in Hong Kong, has dedicated investment professionals located on the ground and is well positioned to exploit the market inefficiencies in order to identify the right sectors to invest in.
