Fund’s investment focus
DNB Miljøinvest is a thematic, environmentally-focused fund that invests in sustainable solution providers for a better climate and the environment. The investment focus is to identify attractive investment cases among companies that contribute to a better environment, both from a financial and an ESG perspective. Businesses must show that the road to emission reductions and a better environment is an important driver for their business. Companies with low carbon intensity do not necessarily contribute most to reducing global emissions, and therefore we assess emissions throughout the value chain and place an emphasis on what the company’s products and services do for society from an environmental point of view.
DNB Miljøinvest’s management team
The management team at DNB Miljøinvest consists of managers Christian Rom and Stian Ueland, and analyst Laura McTavish.
The team has different backgrounds in finance, engineering and ESG. Former employers include Carnegie Securities, Norges Bank Investment Management and S&P Trucost.
The fund invests in sustainable solution providers for a better environment, with an investment philosophy that emphasizes pricing, growth and competitive advantage.
