Become a new customer of DNB

There are two ways to become a customer of DNB. The fastest way is by using your BankID. If you do not have BankID, you may fill out our application form by following the link at the bottom of the page.

Become a customer by using BankID

If you already have BankID issued by another Norwegian bank, you can easily become a DNB customer and open an account and start using our internet banking services right now. Use your code device or mobile together with your personal BankID password to log in.

Start by entering your Norwegian nation ID number below (you must be over 18 years old) before you use your BankID to identify yourself and sign your new bank agreement with DNB.

Become a customer without using BankID

Even if you do not have BankID you can still be a customer of ours by following the steps below and filling out the customer application form.

  1. You must personally fill out the customer application form by following the link below. 
  2. You will receive an email within ten days with further instructions explaining what to do next. 
  3. Finally, you will be asked to visit one of our offices to identify yourself. You can find your local DNB branch office here. 
Note that you should not fill out the application if you are already a customer of DNB. Are you interested in DNB's products or services and are already a customer of ours, you will find our selection by navigating to the website's menu.
