Practise driving in a car
Practice driving hones your skills. You become safer in traffic and less at risk of an accident. It benefits you as a DNB customer.
Car insurance for practice driving
You don’t need to make any changes to your car insurance to practise driving. This is because the supervising passenger is considered the driver of the vehicle.
Rules for practice driving
Car insurance works as normal during practice driving. All you need to do is follow the rules for practice driving.
As a DNB customer, you get a number of benefits by using Kör for practice driving.
Practice driving with app provides a number of benefits
Practice driving not only makes you a better driver, but you also get a number of benefits for your driver training and for the car’s insurance by registering your practice driving in Kör – a driving school with an app where you can book and log hours of driving, practise theory and get feedback from a driving instructor.
You’ll get discounts on both insurance and driving hours, and get a higher start-up bonus on your first car insurance by using Kör.

Vehicle insurance for drivers under 23 years of age
Just got your licence and still under 23 years old? When you’ve passed your driving test and will be driving a car completely unsupervised, the insurance company must be informed that the car will be driven by a young driver. This is because statistically, there is a greater chance of accidents occurring as a young driver.
If you’ve been doing a good job practising your driving with the Kör app, you can register 2,000 kilometres for NOK 2,000 as a discount on the young driver’s add-on on the car insurance.
