In-store cash services
Simple solution for deposits and cash withdrawals at over 1400 supermarkets.
Changes to cash withdrawals for purchase of goods
Do you tend to take out cash in the store when you shop? This service is now being changed to become part of the “in-store cash services” solution.
This means that in the shops Meny, Kiwi, Spar and some Joker stores, cash withdrawals when purchasing goods will cost NOK 10.
In-store cash services (KiB) is a joint solution that banks use for depositing and withdrawing cash. The service is provided by BankAxept and is available in around 1450 of NorgesGruppen’s stores (Meny, Kiwi, Spar and some Joker stores).
To use KiB, you need to use debit cards marked with BankAxept. The shops offering the service will be marked at the checkout. With KiB, you can easily deposit and withdraw cash via the supermarkets’ cash machines. With KiB you can withdraw up to NOK 10,000 and deposit NOK 20,000 into an account.
In order to use KIB, you need to identify yourself with a BankAxept card and pin code. This ensures that the money goes into or out of the right account, and makes it safer for customers in terms of data protection, fraud and identity theft.
