Garmin Pay is an easy way to pay and simply replaces your physical card with a smartwatch. When you create Garmin Pay, a token is created. The token is a digital version of your physical bank card.
You can use Garmin Pay on Garmin smartwatches.

To use Garmin Pay, you need a smartwatch from Garmin and a Visa or Mastercard from DNB that supports contactless payment (NFC). The solution requires a Norwegian mobile number.
- Download the Garmin Pay app in Google Play or App Store on your Android or IOS phone
- Select "Garmin Pay" and enter the desired DNB card
- Accept terms and conditions
- Enter the confirmation code you receive
Garmin Pay is now ready to use.
You can add all DNB Visa and Mastercard cards that support contactless payment, look for the contactless symbol on your card.
Using Garmin Pay
You can pay with Garmin Pay at all payment terminals that accept Visa and Mastercard contactless payments, both in Norway and abroad.
When paying, activate the screen and choose Garmin Pay before holding your watch over a payment terminal.
There are no fees for using Garmin Pay.

Firstly you will see that the transaction has been approved on the payment terminal. You will also receive a confirmation by push notification to your phone.
Security and Garmin Pay
Just like other unknown transactions, you can query it when logged in to the online bank.
The first thing you should do is block or delete the digital bank card in the Garmin app on your phone. If you have problems with blocking or deletion, you can contact customer services on +47 91504800 or use the chat when logged in to the online bank.
It is possible to block the digital bank card and the physical bank card independently of each other. This way you’ll avoid having to order a new physical card if you’ve only lost your watch with Garmin Pay.
Please note that blocking the physical bank card may also cause the digital bank card to be blocked. In these cases, Garmin Pay cannot be used.
Yes, DNB conducted a thorough security assessment before adding Garmin Pay as a new payment solution in DNB. Garmin Pay has been assessed as meeting all DNB’s security requirements.
If you choose to download and install the Garmin Pay app, you accept Garmin’s terms of use, and you thereby consent to sharing transaction data with Garmin. This only applies to transactions made with Garmin Pay. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deregistering your payment card. You can deregister your card in Garmin Pay or by contacting DNB. If you don’t use Garmin Pay, no information will be transferred to Garmin.
